Technologies

Our Manufacturing Technologies
HAND LAY-UP

Hand Lay-Up

The Most Common and Cost-Effective Composite Process

During this process, reinforcement fabrics (such as fiberglass or carbon fiber) are placed manually into the mold layer by layer and impregnated with liquid resin (polyester or epoxy). A dense, void-free laminate structure is achieved using specialized rollers and consolidation tools.

Key Advantages:

Cost-Effective: Requires no expensive machinery
Flexible: Ideal for one-off parts and low-volume production
Versatile: Accommodates complex shapes and large-scale structures

VACUUM INFUSION PROCESS

Vacuum Infusion Processing

Advanced Closed-Mold Method for Maximum Strength

In the vacuum infusion process, dry reinforcements (carbon fiber, fiberglass, or aramid) are impregnated with premium liquid resin within a sealed vacuum environment. This technology ensures an optimal fiber-to-resin ratio, minimal structural weight, and emissions-free manufacturing.

Key Advantages:

Complete Consolidation: Void-free laminate and exceptional structural strength
Weight-Optimized: Uniform wall thickness and ultra-lightweight components
Eco-Friendly: Closed-loop resin delivery with minimal volatile organic emissions

LRTM VACUUM TECHNOLOGY

LRTM Manufacturing Technology

Closed-Mold Process for Medium and High Volumes

LRTM (Light Resin Transfer Moulding) is an advanced composite manufacturing technology combining the strengths of vacuum infusion and standard RTM. It delivers cost-effective production for medium-to-large runs with dual-sided smooth finishes and tight dimensional tolerances.

Key Advantages:

Dual-Sided Smooth Finish: Clean surface on both sides without secondary grinding or fairing
High Repeatability: Consistent fiber-resin ratio, uniform weight, and steady wall thickness across cycles
Clean & Responsible: Closed tooling minimizes styrene emissions for a safer workspace

PU RESIN VACUUM CASTING

Rapid Prototyping – PU Resin Vacuum Casting

A Cost-Effective Bridge Between 3D Printing and Injection Molding

Polyurethane (PU) vacuum casting is one of the most efficient methods for rapid prototyping and short-run production. It yields production-grade functional components with short lead times, bypassing the substantial capital expense of steel injection molds.

Key Advantages:

Broad Material Range: Flame-retardant, optically clear, UV-stabilized, rigid, or elastomeric PU resins
Molding-Grade Quality: Sharp surface detail, fine textures, and accurate tolerances
Fast & Economical: Ideal for functional testing and pilot market runs (10–100 units)

THERMOFORMING

Vacuum Forming (Thermoforming)

Fast and Precise Sheet Forming with Composite Reinforcement Options

During thermoforming, a preheated thermoplastic sheet is formed over positive or negative tooling using vacuum pressure. Following cooling and contour trimming, parts are ready for deployment or can be backed with composite laminates for added structural stiffness.

Key Advantages:

Short Production Cycles: Rapid turnaround and low tooling overhead
Hybrid Construction: Easily combined with composite reinforcement for higher stiffness
Wide Material Selection: Processing of ABS, PMMA, polycarbonate, and technical engineering sheets
